Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor takes place between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the player will be taking the role of a Ranger that goes by the name of Talion and uses Wraith-like abilities. An interesting feature of the game is the new Nemesis System that was announced by Monolith in February 2014. The system remembers the player’s interactions with NPCs and adjusts the way they react throughout the game.

Shadow of Mordor is scheduled for release on October 7 and will be available on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
