New Humble Weekly Bundle is all about adventure
The latest Humble Weekly Bundle brings a collection of adventure games from Frogwares. You can pay what you want for Department 42: The Mystery of the Nine, Journey: Heart of Glass, Dracula: Origin, Dracula: Love Kills and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Also included are a number of games from the Sherlock Holmes series such as Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles and Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Persian Carpet.
Beating the average price will also net you four additional Sherlock Holmes games in the form of Nemesis, The Awakened, The Secret of the Silver Earring and Mystery of The Mummy. For those who still want more games you can pay $9 to get access to Magrunner: Dark Pulse and Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper. Humble Bundle say that if you wanted to buy all the games in the collection separately it would come to $129 dollars, so the Bundle looks like a very decent buy, especially for adventure lovers.
Frogwares is an independent game developer that has offices based in both Ukraine and Ireland. They are best known for their adventure games and in particular their series of Sherlock Holmes games which see you take on the role of the master detective as he tries to solve crimes that no one else can. Since the release of their first game in 2002 they have gone on to win numerous awards such as the best use of a creative license and BigFishGames’ award for best story.
As is usual in Humble Bundles, you can choose to split your payment between the website itself, the developer and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. Frogwares will match any contributions made to the Ukrainian Red Cross, effectively doubling the donations the charity receives. Currently the total payments stands at $65,000 with over 11,000 purchases having been made. If you want to unlock the extra games, the beat the average price is $5.85.
