Ultimate Xbox 360 Sale announced

Microsoft has revealed that for the following week it will be running the Xbox 360 Ultimate Games Sale, with prices being slashed on “some of Xbox 360’s best titles.” The promotion will run for seven days starting tomorrow and will see a variety of games go on sale as part of a daily or weekly deal. Unlike most sales on the Xbox Live Marketplace, this promotion is available to both Gold and Silver Xbox Live members.

The July Ultimate Games Sale involves highly acclaimed titles such as Skyrim, Portal 2 and Dishonored. More recent titles such as Walking Dead 400 Days and Trials Fusions are also discounted in addition a number of classic games that are also on sale. The discounts range in this special sale range from 33% to 75%.

The games included in the usual Deals with Gold promotion are the Fable Trilogy at 33% off, Zoo Tycoon at a 50% sale, Halo Spartan Assault at 66% off and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag at a discount of 37%. Some Xbox One content has also been discounted. Titanfall is available to download at a 33% discount over its usual price while the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass can be bought for 40% less than normal.

Deals with Gold is a similar promotion to Games with Gold, giving more value to the Xbox Live Gold membership. It sees a number of titles being discounted by various amounts, usually ranging from 33% to 80% and includes XBLA titles, Games on Demand and downloadable content. The weekly deals are change every seven days. As some of the games will only be on sale for a day, it’s advisable that you jump on any deals quickly to ensure you don’t miss out.
