Playstation announces their PAX Prime line-up

PlayStation announced their schedule and games line-up for PAX Prime 2014.

There will be more than 30 unreleased Playstation games which you’ll be able to play. Some of the titles announced include Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, Until Dawn, LittleBigPlanet 3, Far Cry 4, Secret Ponchos, Axiom Verge and many others.

Besides allowing attendees to play all these games, PlayStation announced several other events that will take place at their booth. Friday and Saturday, from 2 to 3 P.M, Tim Schafer will be there to sign posters for Grim Fandago Remastered. People who visit The Order: 1886 area can win a Playstation 4 console signed by members of the developer, Ready at Dawn. More details on how to win the console will be released on location. Furthermore, PlayStation invites PAX goers to their booth to engage in a four-player co-op of Freedom Wars. Fans who pre-order the game at the show will receive a limited PAX-exclusive Freedom Wars t-shirt.

There will be two Playstation panels at PAX. One of them is about Media Molecule’s “Tearaway”. The game is about a messenger in a papery world, with a fourth wall breaking design. During the panel, James Spafford, community manager for Media Molecule, will explain how they built the paper world and how it flexes, folds, tears and crumples at a single touch. The Tearaway panel takes place on Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m, at Sandworm Theater. The second Playstation panel is about Grim Fandango Remastered, a re-make of the classic Lucas Arts game made by Tim Schaffer in 1998. Now, Schaffer and his team at Double Fine Productions are re-releasing the classic on Playstation 4 and PS Vita. The panel will feature both the original creators and the team in charge with the new release. They will discuss the game’s original development and their approach towards the new release. This panel takes place on Saturday, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m at the Main Theater.

About Crisan Mircea

I'm a journalism graduate and an occasional gamer. As a kid I used to own a NES clone called "Terminator 2", which was hugely popular in my country. I like old school games and adventure games but I occasionaly play RPG's and Shooters as well, though I wouldn't call myself an expert at these kinds of games. When I'm not writing or playing games I prefer reading detective or fantasy novels.
