Sony Xperia Z3 Compact leaks in neat press pics

The smallest model of the Xperia Z3 line that will be introduced by Sony at IFA in a few days is the Xperia Z3 Compact and you can already see what the flagship will look like thanks to some leaked press photos that have appeared online. Sony has announced a comprehensive Xperia Z3 line unveiling at IFA Berlin, including the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

We’ve just heard about the new Sony SmartWatch, SmartBand Talk and Xperia E3 appearing alongside the Xperia Z3 line and we’ve also learned that the company is planning to implement some high-tech water resistance in one device or other, so we can safely say that Sony might just steal the limelight from companies like Samsung and LG at IFA.

IFA sounds very promising and this new leak about the Xperia Z3 Compact just makes things even more appealing. The specs of the Xperia Z3 Compact have been leaked before, introducing a 4.6-inch 720p display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 20.7-megapixel camera. The leaked images show a device with a similar design to its predecessors, except for the speaker slot placed below the display. The pics also promise at least four color options to choose from: black, white, green and red. Which one would you like?

The Xperia Z3 line from Sony comes as a pleasantly high-grade line of smartphones and tablets with high-end specs and features which will surely impress the visitors and followers of the IFA Berlin trade show. The Xperia Z3 isn’t far from Sony’s Xperia Z2, with improvements in screen brightness, processing speed (2.5 GHz vs the Z2’s 2.3 GHz) and a slightly better camera. The Xperia Z3 is also a little slimmer and lighter than the Xperia Z2, but it does sacrifice 100 mAH of battery power to achieve that.

With these specs in mind, we can safely say that the Xperia Z3 Compact might just be the more popular smartphone from the Xperia line to be released at IFA Berlin. With Sony promising so many upgrades and so many new additions to its device portfolio, we are getting more excited by the minute, just waiting to see what HASN’T leaked yet… What’s that about a new waterproof threshold?
