Haytham Kenway is the antagonist of “Assassin’s Creed 3”. He is the grandmaster of the Templars during the American revolution and, apparently, also during the Seven Years’ War. Haytham is Edward Kenway’s son and Connor’s father. He is a fan favorite character in the third Assassin’s Creed game. Playable at the beginning, Haytham is revealed to be the bad guy, who influences the revolution along with real-life characters of the period. It remains to be seen what Haytham’s role will be in this game, but, considering his allegiances, he will probably give Shay several missions. He might even be an NPC fighting side by side with the player in certain battles.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, unlike its next gen counterpart, is more similar to Black Flag. The game brings back the naval battles, which Shay commanding a ship called The Morrigan. This game mode is improved through the introduction of new ship weapons, such an oil slick which can be ignited and machine gun cannons. Another novelty is that enemies can board The Morrigan during combat. Since this game takes place in the North Atlantic, the diving missions from Black Flag were removed. Even swimming causes the player’s health to decrease rapidly due to the ice cold water. Cormac’s actions in “Rogue” will have effects in Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The games are, therefore, tied, and the player might need to get them both in order to comprehend the story. Other than the North Atlantic, Shay goes to the Appalachian River Valley, Alabama, New York and even Quebec. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will be released on November 11th, 2014 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
