Blizzcon 2014 Virtual Tickets now available

BlizzCon is drawing closer and closer and if you were planning to attend Blizzcon 2014 in person you are, unfortunately, out of luck since all tickets are completely sold out. But do not despair, there is still hope! Virtual Tickets for Blizzard Entertainment’s BlizzCon 2014 are now available for purchase. The price of the virtual tickets is $39.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 each.

The virtual pass offers you live high-definition of the two-day gaming celebration via a multichannel stream. Each channel will be dedicated to different area of Blizzcon, and you’ll be able o switch between them and watch what interests you in particular. If you want to see the whole thing you can because the virtual ticket comes with „on-demand replays and DVR functionality so you can catch any of the action you might have missed”. You will have access to the Main and Panel Stage channels featuring:

  • Developer Panels – which offer the latest news and developments on Blizzard’s games: World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm;
  • Exclusive Interviews – with Blizzard executives and developers;
  • Costume and Talent Contests – hosted by Chris Hardwick on Friday night;
  • Closing Ceremony – epic show on Saturday night. The live acts have not been announced yet as they will be unveiled closer to the show.

BlizzCon 2014 Virtual Tickets owners will also receive „Epic In-Game Goodies” for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. More information about the featured „loot” will be available at a later date. If you are unable to attend BlizzCon 2014 in person or do not want to buy a Virtual Ticket (seriously, why not?) you will still be able to get a glimpse of the action. A limited high-definition coverage of the opening ceremony and BlizzCon’s eSports tournament will be available for free (featuring StarCraft II, World of Warcraft Arena and Hearthstone World Championships, and more).

Virtual Tickets can be bought through the Battle.net shop. BlizzCon 2014 will take place at Anaheim Convention Center, Southern California on November 7-8.
