Samsung Galaxy Note 4 UK release date officially announced

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced and detailed earlier this month at the IFA, but the release date was not revealed at the event. Well, now we know the release date, but it will only be of use to you if you happen to live in the UK. Samsung announced earlier today that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available for purchase in the United Kingdom starting with October 10th. However, if you want to reserved a phablet beforehand you can do so starting tomorrow as the device will become available for pre-order from participating retailers. Coincidentally, tomorrow is also the day when the iPhone 6 will be officially launched, although some people may have to wait a while longer to get their hands on it as the device has been delayed.

One the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has not been delayed, but it hasn’t been priced either as of yet. Most sources predict that the phablet will end up costing between £550 and £600. Earlier this month a leak from retailer Clove suggested that the price will be £575, which seems about right. The device is well worth the money as it comes equipped with the best smartphone display of all time according to a recent analysis. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 144x x 2560 resolution and 518 pixel density. Aside from the impressive screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7 GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage memory with microSD support, 16 MP primary camera and 3,220 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also available for pre-order in China and is expected to launch in South Korea on September 26th. A US release date has not been announced yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear something so stay tuned.
