The ‘Arrow’ cast joins Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

The ‘Arrow’ cast is coming to Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, according to Traveller’s Tales. At their New York Comic Con panel, the developers revealed several new characters that are coming to the game.

First of all, Traveller’s Tales announced that they will release a DLC pack for the game, based on the TV show that brings DC’s Green Arrow to life. The DLC is said to feature characters from the show (including Oliver Queen, who will be voiced by the actor who plays him in the show, Stephen Amell), an exclusive level and vehicles.

Among the other characters announced, Conan O’Brien will be part of Lego Batman 3, presumably as a character who guides the players throughout the game. Furthermore, you will be able to play as important people over at DC Comics, including CCO Geoff Johns and co-publisher Jim Lee. Last but not least, a special character available in the game is Duck Dodgers, who appears dressed in a Green Lantern outfit, and using his Green Loontern persona, as you can see in the screenshot below:

For those who don’t know, Duck Dodgers was an animated series produced by Warner Bros from 2003 to 2005. It featured original Looney Tunes characters as actors in a space-opera. The show was set in the future, in the 24th and a half century. The titular character, Duck Dodgers, is played by Daffy Duck, while his sidekick, known as Space Cadet, is portrayed by Porky Pig. Other Looney Tunes characters that appear in the show in one way or another include Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian or Yosemite Sam. The show ended production after its third season concluded.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is an action-adventure game, developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. It will be released on November 11, 2014, on PC and Mac computers, iOS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

About Crisan Mircea

I'm a journalism graduate and an occasional gamer. As a kid I used to own a NES clone called "Terminator 2", which was hugely popular in my country. I like old school games and adventure games but I occasionaly play RPG's and Shooters as well, though I wouldn't call myself an expert at these kinds of games. When I'm not writing or playing games I prefer reading detective or fantasy novels.
