Dragon Age: Inquisition: Hero of Thedas trailer released

Bioware released a brand new trailer for their upcoming game, Dragon Age: Inquisition. The new video is called “The Hero of Thedas” and it describes the hero’s quest thorought Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Judging by what’s said in the trailer, in the game players will take control of a hero that is believed to be the an agent of the Maker. BioWare confirmed that, in Dragon Age: Inquisition, you will have to create a brand new character, as the protagonist is different than those from the previous games. The game will involve a civil war between mages and templars. Your character will be an Inquisitior who has to lead the forces of the Inquisition. The role your hero has is to make choices and decisions involving capturing forts in order to gain control over certain areas. The Inquisitor and his team will face two major groups, among others: the Red Templars and the Venatori.

BioWare also stated that the game will be more open ended than the ones from the previous titles, and that player choices matter even more. Your decisions prove what kind of a hero you are, as the trailer emphasizes. All in all, the game is promising, and BioWare, despite having their share of failures, are known for their ability of delivering great action-RPG games, with stories that are built upon player choices. What I mean to say is that expectations are high for this game, and for good reason.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on November 18 in North America and on November 21 in Europe, on Windows PC’s, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. If you pre-order the game, you will receive the “Flames of the Inquisition” gear pack, which contains several multi-class weapons, an exclusive inquisitor armor and an armored mount. The Deluxe Edition of the game costs $69.99, while the standard version is $59.99, regardless of the console you are buying it on.

About Crisan Mircea

I'm a journalism graduate and an occasional gamer. As a kid I used to own a NES clone called "Terminator 2", which was hugely popular in my country. I like old school games and adventure games but I occasionaly play RPG's and Shooters as well, though I wouldn't call myself an expert at these kinds of games. When I'm not writing or playing games I prefer reading detective or fantasy novels.
