Pokemon Reveals Delta Episode

Early this morning Pokemon revealed the Delta Episode for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This Delta Episode is entirely new content created just for the remakes of popular Pokemon games Ruby and Sapphire. The new story based content will include legendary Deoxys and all its various forms. You will be tasked to save Hoenn from a giant asteroid, as well as stopping Team Aqua and Team Magma (again). You can ride Mega Rayquaza into space and a new character, named Zinnia, is introduced. Some allies from the main game return to help in the Delta Episode, including Steven and Wallace, former champions of the Pokemon League.

Lots of Legendary Pokemon return, including Entei, Raikou, and Suicune from Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Other legendary Pokemon are: Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Cresselia, and Heatran. Returning from the original Ruby and Sapphire are Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, who once captured unlock Regigigas. Lastly, you can transfer Glalie from the demo version of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which you can access by either participating in events at select retailers or by downloading specific Pokemon games through the eShop.

One of the games that gives you access to the special demo is the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the 3DS virtual console. The game was released today and costs $5.99 on the eShop. Once purchased you will receive a code on the eShop receipt. Other methods of obtaining the code include subscribing to the Trainer Club newsletter, purchasing Pokemon Art Academy or Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, and via a holiday mall tour that lasts from November 24th to December 21st, at 16 US locations yet to be announced. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have surpassed 1 million pre-orders, the most of any game in Nintendo’s fiscal 2014 year, and looks to outpace Pokemon X and Y in sales. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be available Friday, November 21st, 2014 and retail at $39.99 each.
