Assassin’s Creed Unity Patch Coming This Week

Assassin’s Creed Unity has tarnished Ubisoft’s reputation, well, even further that is. When Unity first arrived the experience was marred down by game breaking bugs and creepy glitches, one of which has certain NPCs in Assassin’s Creed Unity missing their face. We’ve already talked a little bit of the patch here, but now we have the official date for the patch.

Assassin’s Creed Unity has many bugs and is said to be a broken game and Ubisoft is aware of this. While they are doing everything they can to fix the latest Assassin’s Creed, the problems still remain and the question is still out there, why is a game like this? Why would any company in their right mind release a game that has so many game breaking bugs? From save corruptions to matchmaking issues, Assassin’s Creed Unity is a $60 investment for players to wait and see. Assassin’s Creed Unity patch 3 will be rolling out this week according to Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed blog. With the PS4 and Xbox One patches coming out tomorrow, the PC version of Unity will have to wait for some time later in the week. Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed patch includes fixes to stability & performance issues, navigation issues, and save corruption in SOME cases. The PC version has some VERY specific issues that are being tailored out in the meantime.Patch 3 should being its rollout shortly, though.

Ubisoft has promised that they are already working on Patch 4 for Assassin’s Creed Unity. While all versions have their fair share of issues, it is odd that the PC’s version of Assassin’s Creed patch will not be out until later this week. Patch 3 will fix many things for all versions, the patch notes are all in the Ubisoft blog that is linked. Hopefully it will fix more problems than it creates, but only time will tell.
