Zen Pinball 2 Receives Venom Based Table
Zen Pinball has had a variety of different tables over the years. These tables have featured themes such as Star Wars and Marvel Comics. Now there is a table based on one of Marvel Comic’s most popular characters: Venom.
On the PlayStation Blog, a new trailer (seen below) for the Venom table was released to celebrate the new table. The table will set gamers back $2.99. The table features Eddie Brock as the Symbiote- empowered villain as he faces off against his mortal enemy Spider-Man. However, Venom’s twisted offspring Carnage also show up, forcing Venom and Spider-Man to team up to take the psychotic villain down. The table also features a ringing bell as a little fan service for Venom fans, and Spider-Man calling in for back up. The table will be cross-buy; gamers who buy the table on either the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, or PS Vita will also receive the table on the other platforms.
This is not the first time that Zen Pinball has done a Marvel themed table. Tables based on Wolverine, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Deadpool, and others have been made. There are also tables based off of entire story arcs from Marvel, such as The Infinity Gauntlet story line and World War Hulk. Zen Pinball has also reached out to other popular franchises. A number of Star Wars tables have been released, based on entire movies. Single characters have also received tables, such as Boba Fett and Darth Vader. There also tables based on The Walking Dead, Street Fighter, and Plants vs. Zombies. Players are able to try a number of Zen Pinball’s tables, getting a taste of what they are purchasing.
Zen Pinballs 2’s new Venom table is available now. Though it was featured on the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, the table is also available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, Android, and iOS.
