Croixleur Sigma Coming to PS4

Croixleur Sigma is a hack-and-slash action game from indie studio souvenir circ. Already available on Steam, the game will be coming over to the PlayStation 4 soon.

Souvenir circ. has put up an official website for the PlayStation 4 version of action title Croixleur Sigma, offering a look at the Japanese indie title. The company also put out a new trailer showing off the action on the PS4, which can be seen below. In Croixleur Sigma, in the Queen’s realm of Ilance, two prodigies representing the Knight and Aristocrat factions will do battle in the “Adjuvant Trial.” This ritual, which has been held since the founding of the nation, decides which faction will hold political and military authority, and protect the Queen, who is the living symbol of the realm. The fate of the nation is at stake as the two girls set aside their friendship and undergo a trial in which can only have one victor. Croixleur Sigma offers 60fps of hack-and-slash arcade action, and features gameplay similar to the Devil May Cry series’ Bloody Palace mode.

In Croixleur Sigma, gamers play as either Lucrezia Visconti or Francesca Storaro, as they battle their way up the tower to learn the secrets behind the Adjuvant Trial. There are 20 weapons to collect, each with a unique special move. Players have to pick the load-out that fits their play style. The game has a simple but satisfying combo system, which includes Move Canceling, Attack Nullifying, Invincible Dashing, and Rigid Body States. The title has a story mode with separate stories and multiple endings for both characters, as well as a Time Attack Mode, Survival Mode, and Challenge Mode. The game also features local 2 player co-op, where a couple of players take on hordes of monsters in a Dramatic Battle mode.

Croixleur Sigma is available on Steam. The game will set players back $7.99
