CES 2015: Asus bringing new Zenfones to the show

CES 2015 is one of the most anticipated events of next year, and it will start on January 6 2015. We are expecting many exhibitors at CES 2015 and a handful of new devices to be shown off. One of the companies with events already scheduled for CES 2015 is Asus, who is planning on showing off some new ZenFones, which we were missing, by the way. CES 2015 will bring companies like Samsung and Sony together, who will introduce each their own new flagships for next year.

Rumors has it that CES 2015 highlights will include the unveiling of the Sony Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4 Compact, as well as the redesigned Project Zero aka Galaxy S6. While these rumors haven’t been confirmed, we still expect to see a whole selection of new flagships coming from various OEMs and companies and we’re glad to hear that Asus already has some surprises planned for us. CES 2015 stands for the International Consumer Electronics Show and will be held in Las Vegas. CES is over 40 years old and has been presenting new and innovative products to consumers since the very beginning. This year, CES 2015 is even more popular among tech enthusiasts especially when it comes to smartphones because the hype around upcoming flagships has reached a pretty big size.

Asus is planning a press conference one day before CES 2015 starts, on January 5th. The press conference is entitled Experience 2morrow, and those of you who can’t make it to Las Vegas that day will be able to watch the live stream of the event on Asus’ homepage. We don’t know how many ZenFones Asus is planning to launch at CES 2015, but we are expecting to see a new 5.5 inch ZenFone model, as well as other smaller models running on Intel and MediaTek chipsets. Asus is planning on releasing pretty affordable smartphones at CES 2015, with Intel chipset-endowed phone prices starting at $300.

While Asus and Intel have spilled the beans about what we should expect from them at CES 2015, other companies have been rather silent about their product line-up to be presented at the conference in January. What we did hear is that Samsung might introduce a new bending TV as well as the Galaxy S6, LG might show off the LG G Flex 2 smartphone, a new wearable and of course, some smart home products and TVs. Sharp might also bring the Sharp Aquos Crystal X to the show, but it’s more likely that its booth at CES 2015 will be more about TVs. CES 2015 sounds pretty promising and we hope to see a handful of new and interesting devices, and even some innovative ideas. Are you going to CES 2015 or will you settle to stream the keynotes of each OEM?
