Wildstar Update Coming in 2015

Wildstar first released in June of this year. Now the game will soon be receiving its first big update in 2015.

In 2015, NCSOFT will release the first big update for Wildstar. Creative Director Chad Moore took to the game’s website to give details on what to expect from the upcoming update. The update will introduce a new low-level training dungeon called Protogames Academy. This dungeon will help teach players team mechanics that will help them later on down the road. There will be a new level-six Shiphand mission called They Came From Fragment Zero!, which will take place in the unexplored reaches of the Halon Ring. There will also be Veteran versions of all Shiphand missions. There will be new player customization options, including costumes and the ability to alter a character’s appearance after character creation. There will be a new currency called Glory, which can be earned by completing dungeons and raids, and a new dungeon called Ultimate Protogames for max-level players. Also, the group size requirement for Datascape will be lowered from 40 to 20 players.

First live on June 3, 2014, Wildstar is a fantasy/science fiction MMORPG. The game takes place on the planet Nexus, where a powerful race known as the Eldan have disappeared, leaving behind a wealth of technology and secrets up for grab. The level cap for the game is 50, with the game consisting of quests, dungeons, and PvP. Players can choose between eight races and six classes. The classes are Warrior, Esper, Spellslinger, Stalker, Medic, and Engineer. All of these classes are able to fulfill the role of DPS, as well as one of the support roles, tank or healer. Classes are limited to certain races. Along with classes, players also choose a path in Wildstar. The four paths are Soldier, Explorer, Settler, and Scientist, which are not limited by race.

Wildstar is now available for PC.
