Nexus 6 now available on the Motorola website in all four variants
The Nexus 6 was released last month but most customers found it pretty hard to get their hands on the device due to its limited availability. That is, until now. Motorola recently opened up the flood gates and made it so that anyone can just go ahead and purchase the phone directly from their website. In addition, customers are able to choose between a total of four Nexus 6 models. Specifically, there are two color options in the form of Midnight Blue and Cloud White, as well as two storage memory options. As you can probably imagine, the price will remain the same regardless of your choice of color, but unsurprisingly this doesn’t apply to storage as well.
Unlike its predecessor, the Nexus 6 is a rather pricey smartphone at $650 for the 32 GB version and can get even more expensive if you plan on buying the 64 GB model, which costs $700. The price is well worth it though as this is one of the best handsets around, albeit some might find the 6-inch display a bit too large. Hardware-wise, we’re looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7 GHz with Adreno 420 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The Motorola Nexus 6 also comes equipped with a 13 MP primary camera on the back, 2 MP secondary shooter on the front, and a 3,220 mAh battery to power it all.
As for the software, the Nexus 6 was the first smartphone to launch straight out of the box with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Seeing as how this is a Nexus device, customers can also expect to be among the first to receive all the upcoming Android updates shortly after they release.
