GTA 5 PC pre-orders grant a free game of choice courtesy of Rockstar

Many PC gamers have recently bashed Rockstar for repeatedly delaying GTA 5 on the platform, and with good reason if you ask me. Likely in an attempt to make it up to them, the company is now offering a free game of choice to anyone who is still willing to pre-order Grand Theft Auto V for the PC. We’re not talking about just any free games either, as Rockstar will let potential customers choose from a selection of some of their most highly acclaimed titles. Available games include: Max Payne 2, Max Payne 3, GTA 3, GTA 4, GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City, GTA: Episodes from Liberty City, Bully, Midnight Club 2, and Manhunt. Now, there are a few things worth noting here, the first of which is that your GTA 5 PC pre-order must be placed before February 1st.

Also, while this promotion is available for both physical and digital copies of the game, gamers who plan on purchasing the game on Steam won’t be able to pick their free game for some reason. According to the GTA 5 Steam page, the bonus game is GTA: San Andreas, with no option of choosing something else. On the other hand, the good news is that you won’t have to wait until GTA 5 PC launches to get the free game, if you’re willing to pay a little something upfront that is. Rockstar says that pre-ordering Grand Theft Auto V before February 1st will grant you immediate access to the bonus game, however, the company will charge a 15% deposit upon check out. The remaining sum will only be charged on March 24th when the game launches. The activation code for GTA 5 on the PC will also be sent to you on that date.

Aside from a free game, pre-ordering comes with another bonus in the form of $1,000,000 in-game money split evenly for GTA 5 and GTA Online. In addition, pre-ordering before February 1st grants you another bonus $300,000 for GTA Online.
