HTC One M9 with Windows 10 set to launch in the U.S.

The HTC One M9 is definitely coming to the MWC 2015, as our sources are quite sure that the Taiwanese company won’t delay the launch of their flagship further than that. Even though we don’t know much about the flagship, we did learn that not only will the base model appear at the Mobile World Congress, but possibly an HTC One M9 with Windows 10 on board. That points towards the fact that HTC will be keeping tradition alive and launching a Windows-running flagship, too. We’ve seen the hype around the HTC One M8 with Windows last year, so it’s probably a good call to launch both the base version with Android 5.0 Lollipop and the Windows 10 version of the HTC One M9 in tandem, tapping into more markets at the same time.

Since HTC hasn’t confirmed any of this information, take it as a rumor, a grain of salt recommended. The bad news is that the HTC One M9 with Windows 10 will probably not be launched at the MWC, but it might be introduced so that people will know what they can expect. From what we learned from famous leaker @upleaks, the Windows 10 version of the flagship will only be sold in the U.S. at first, but we have a hunch that HTC and Microsoft will be expanding in the future to other markets with the new device. Even though it would be a good idea to launch the HTC One M9 Hima alongside its Windows 10 version, it seems impossible as rumors say that Windows 10 for Phones won’t be finished until late Spring – early Summer 2015.

Whichever the case may be, the best approach is to look at the info with skepticism, as neither HTC nor Microsoft have made official statements about the availability and schedule of the HTC One M9 and Windows 10 for phones. We’re going on speculation, as with most leaks nowadays, but based on history and assumptions, we can safely say that a Windows 10 version of the HTC One M9 is pretty much confirmed, although we’re not sure when it will see the light of day in stores. As for the specs of the device, rumors and leaks say that it will come with a 5 inch display with a FHD resolution, Snapdragon 810 CPU, 3 GB RAM, 20.7 MP rear camera and 4 MP front camera, as well as a large battery.

Considering the fact that I've rapidly destroyed almost every gadget I've had so far, I'm not inclined to owning something, so my ideal outcome would be to have a different gadget each month. I'm really into smartphones, wearables and tablets and I love Playstation and Xbox, I'm sure I'll beat you at your own game (after a month of training... or two)
