Tales from the Borderlands Episode 2 Trailer Released

Set in Pandora after the events in Borderlands 2, Telltale Games’ Episodic Title Tales of the Borderlands has kept players waiting on edge for the next episode. When it was released in November of last year, fans of the Borderlands series quickly snatched it up and played as the unwilling partners, Rhys and Fiona in a very two sided story. In episode one players’ decisions greatly affected how the game played out. The second episode should stay true to this innovative role play that Telltale Games has developed, which has caused them to become so well known.

Over the weekend at PAX East Telltale Games announced that they had not forgotten episode two while working on Game of Thrones’ next episode or their new Minecraft project. However, it has been three months. Not to worry though, the next episode, Atlas Mugged, is coming out next week and should get fans even more excited as they have released a short trailer for it today. Many of the same hazardous monsters and bandits will stand in the player’s way. The exciting holographic character, Handsome Jack, will play an even greater roll in the game and his attitude does not look handsome at all. Seeing the interactions between Rhys and his long time personal idol should certainly keep things interesting in episode two.

Telltales’ site still has not posted a description for the new episode yet. However, hovering your mouse over Episode 2 provides the one word excitement of ‘soon’. For those who would like to refresh their memory of the first episode before the next title, now might be the time to replay it or finish the game for those who haven’t. A preview of the first episode was shown at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and streamed live on Twitch. This makes me wonder if CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner has another large unveiling planned when Telltale Games attends SXSW Interactive next week. It is likely fans will see more in the days to come. The game will become available on March 17th on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC, Linux, Android and iOS. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.
