Fallout 4: Cinematic Trailer Listed on LinkedIn Profile

War never changes. Rumors about a possible Fallout 4 though? Those kinds of rumors normally last about 10 minutes before someone reveals it was all a hoax. So new evidence for the existence of Fallout 4 should probably be filed under ‘sketchy at best’. A 3D artist called Luis Nieves has posted on his LinkedIn profile that he has completed work on a cinematic trailer for the game, reports Videogamer. Nieves seems to have the been working for Mirada Studios, which is partly run by film director Guillermo del Toro, leading many on the internet to assume that the game has already been cancelled.

Bethesda have not yet formally announced Fallout 4, but this is the best evidence so far that the game is in the works and that the company is gearing up for a big reveal. Nieves previously worked on cinematics for Far Cry 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Mirada Studios itself worked on an ad for Mario Kart 8. Load the Game recently speculated that Fallout 4 would be revealed at the Bethesda press conference at E3 2015 (June 14), and this definitely adds fuel to that fire. This is the first year the company have held their own press conference.

I want a Fallout 4 cinematic trailer about as much as I want any thing that is completely unconnected to something I love. But maybe this one will be different and bear some resemblance to the actual game. You never know. According to the Videogamer article, a 20-30 minute gameplay demo is rumored to be on its way to E3. Anyone wanting a clearer idea of how the game will move on from Fallout 3 and New Vegas might want to sneak in and get a glimpse of that. Personally, I’ll be at home playing Fallouts 1 and 2 (maybe even Fallout Tactics), and chatting to a man with a tree on his head.
