Closed Alpha Weekend for Smite 2, the follow-up to MOBA Smite, on PS5

SMITE, the beloved MOBA game, is set to receive a highly anticipated sequel, allowing players to immerse themselves in the thrilling gameplay once again. Smite 2, the highly anticipated sequel, may still be a while away from its release date, but Hi-Rez Studios is giving fans an exciting opportunity to get a sneak peek through a closed alpha test.

Signing up for Alpha is currently available on the official website. Once you’ve made your selection, you’ll have the option to pick your preferred platform, including the highly anticipated PS5. This will allow players to get a firsthand look at how the console version performs in the upcoming days. The alpha will be held over the upcoming weekend, starting on May 2nd.

Players will have the opportunity to take on the role of 14 different heroes from the game’s roster, providing a substantial selection to choose from. This allows them to experience both the familiar and the fresh elements of the multiplayer action title. Smite 2 stands out due to its utilization of Unreal Engine 5, which promises a significant visual enhancement compared to its predecessor.
