Google Nexus 5 gets a considerable price-trim in India

FlipKart, the huge online Indian store has just posted a new offer with the Google Nexus 5, with an unbeatable price. The phone now costs 24,774 RS (around $410) for the 16 GB version, instead of the standard 28,999 RS (around $480) original price. The 32 GB version of the Nexus 5 however remains close to its original launching price of 32,999 RS (around $550). The offer only extends for the Nexus 5’s black version, with other color variants costing the same as before.

With an EMI package, the Google Nexus 5 only costs 1,200 RS, and FlipKart is also offering a 30-day replacement guarantee, which is always nice to have, although the Nexus 5 is known to be durable and solid. It also has all the connectivity features you’d like, alongside microUSB support. The phone’s software can now be upgraded to the latest Android KitKat 4.4.4, and the phone will be among the first to get Google’s upcoming Android L OS.

If you’re looking for a solid, yet affordable smartphone, you can’t really go wrong. Sure, if you can get your hands on a OnePlus One, that’s probably a better deal, but those are hard to come by.
