The Sims 4 owners will receive rewards if they also own The Sims 3

Loyalty is often its own reward, but sometimes it also comes with additional benefits. Maxis announced The Sims 4 Rewards, a program that offers you in-game goodies if own and have registered The Sims 3 and any of its expansion packs. You will earn a reward just by owning the vanilla version, but if you also own any addition content many more rewards will be waiting for you once you jump into The Sims 4 for the first time. There are a total of 13 rewards to be had and you will get a special gift that goes by the name of “The Ultimate Freezer Bunny Award” if you happen to own The Sims 3 and all 11 expansions. If you only own some of the expansion packs worry not, you will still be rewarded. Check out the list below to see what you’ll get.

• The Sims 3: Let There Be Plumbobs Award.
• World Adventures Expansion Pack: Never Ending Reward.
• Ambitions: Shine On Reward.
• Late Night Expansion Pack: UV Light Reward.
• Generations Expansion Pack: Beacon of Ages Reward.
• Pets: Paws Anonymous Reward.
• Showtime Expansion Pack: Your Name In Lights Reward.
• Supernatural Expansion Pack: Enchanted Aurora Reward.
• Seasons Expansion Pack: Whatever The Weather Reward.
• University Expansion Pack: Alma Mater Reward.
• Island Paradise Expansion Pack: Truly Tropical Reward.
• Into The Future Expansion Pack: Time Travelers Reward.

Now, we’re not sure what exactly these rewards are, but apparently each one of them “will affect your Sims’ emotions and personalities in a unique way.” Maxis doesn’t mention anything else so we’ll just have to wait and see. The rewards will be waiting for you in the Build Mode catalogue and will be available until December 31st, 2015 when the giveaway ends. The Sims 4 will be released on September 2nd in North America and September 4th in Europe. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
