HTC One M8 Max and HTC Desire A11 leaked online
After the appraised One M8 killed competition the past months, some were left wondering what can be done further? The M8 left us bewildered, too, thinking that maybe it was enough progress in smartphone technology, but as you all know, we can never truly be fully satisfied and a leak has proved us right!
The Max edition of the One M8 surprised us by presenting a whopping Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU which guarantees flawless performance in the new HTC edition. It’s rumored to be a phablet of course, with a 5.5 inch display and the metallic design reminiscent of its sister, the M8. At first the Max was rumored as the Prime edition, although the name-change does suggest that the phablet will aim to amaze. The specs are not yet accessible, but rumors are that it will be a top notch performance oriented phablet, with according price, probably, made out of premium materials and with high-tech hardware. We hope new battery technology will be implemented in the Max/Prime, because even though the M8 performed well on battery tests, there is always room for improvement. Besides, if they decide to roll out the Max/Prime as an improved M8, it would be a nice touch to work on the battery life.
Besides the M8 Max/Prime, the first 64 bit smartphone from HTC has been leaked at Upleaks, as well. The model name would be A11 and it’s supposedly part of the HTC Desire line. The gadget will feature a 4.7 inch display with 480*854 resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 at 1.4 GHz. It will also sport a 5 MP rear cam and will run Android 4.4.2 with Sense 6 pre-installed. It will also sport a 0.3 MP average front cam for your selfie needs and will be coming to Sprint this fall. This one will probably more accessible price-wise, which makes it attractive to many HTC enthusiasts because it will probably be around $200 and offer features that will be well worth the price.
Both these phones come as a the Galaxy Note 4 tablet is becoming more and more mediated on the web, and with good reason, since the Note 4 will supposedly be unveiled on September 3 at IFA Berlin. The device will surely be of premium quality with a price between $550 and $800, with a 5.7 inch display, QHD screen to rival LG G3 or a SAMOLED similar to the Galaxy S5, possibly with a curved screen and edges and a Snapdragon 805 processor. This being said, there would be no better time for HTC to pucker up and launch these bad boys before Samsung takes up all the limelight.
