Capcom Will be at the PlayStation Experience

Capcom will be at the PlayStation Experience event going on this weekend. The studio will be showing off a few games, as well as holding tournaments for one of their most popular franchises.

One of the games that Capcom will be featuring at the PlayStation Experience according to the PlayStation Blog will be the upcoming episodic title Resident Evil Revelations 2. The latest entry in the horror franchise, Revelations 2 will star Claire Redfield and Moira Burton. The two find themselves imprisoned on a mysterious island forcing them to fight for survival as they try to unravel the secrets of what is really going on in the island facility. Little do they know that every move they make is being watched. Revelations 2 will consist of 4 episodes, which will be released on a weekly basis digitally. The game comes to the PS3 and PS4 early next year, but gamers can check out a playable demo for the game at the PlayStation Experience.

Revelations 2 will not be the only Resident Evil game that Capcom will be showing off at the PlayStation Experience. The upcoming remake of the original Resident Evil title will be there as well. The title will be available for the PS3 and PS4 early next year, but gamers can get a glimpse with a playable demo being featured at the PlayStation Experience at Capcom’s booth. Capcom will also be holding free-to-enter Ultra Street Fighter 4 tournaments all weekend long. Winners and participants alike will have the chance to win prizes. Players can show off their skills on the specially created eSports stage, or at a playable demo kiosk. Whoever plays a match of Ultra Street Fighter 4, tournament or not, will receive a free digital copy of Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition for the PS3.

The PlayStation Experience will run from December 6th to 7th. The event is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
