Capcom will Release Four Mega Man GBA Titles on the Virtual Console in May
Last year, Capcom teamed up with Nintendo of America to bring some classic Mega Man titles to the eShop. The inclusion of Mega Man in Smash Bros. has strengthen the ties between both companies. Capcom has even released a few Resident Evil titles on both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Capcom and Nintendo will once again come together for “Mega May”. Last year, Capcom let fans vote which game would be released first. This year, fans will again be able to choose which Mega Man GBA game will launch first.
Starting on May 7, gamers will be able to purchase one of six Mega Man GBA titles. Capcom will release a total of four GBA games throughout the month. Last year, Capcom released them on Nintendo 3DS. However, Capcom will be releasing the next round of GBA titles on Wii U. It’s not known if Capcom will be releasing them on Nintendo 3DS.
Fans can start voting now (April 15) through April 29. The game that receives the highest amount of votes will release on May 7. The rest of the games will launch chronologically each week. It’s great to see more Mega Man content coming to the Virtual Console. So no matter what the results of the poll are, gamers will be rewarded with a classic GBA title each week in May. You can vote for the following, Mega Man & Bass, Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue/White, Mega Man Zero 2, or Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun/Blue Moon.
