The Moto M Gold and Silver was Revealed in Leaked Photos
Lenovo’s Moto M was spotted in a few leaked photos, and it seems to be quite a nice handset, at least for a mid-ranger. The images were recently leaked to TechDroider, according to TGC, and they show a handset with an aluminum body and rounded edges. The bezels on the smartphone are quite thick, but then again, we area speaking of a mid-ranger, not a high-end device, so the expectations can’t be as high as the ones we would normally have with a more expensive smartphone.
The Moto M was also spotted on TENAA Certification site in China recently, so we now have a pretty good idea of what the handset will be like. The information listed on the Chinese certification site shows an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage. This can be further extended thanks to the microSD card slot of the handset that supports memory cards of up to 32GB. The Moto M will have a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 180 pixels resolution, and it also features a fingerprint sensor that’s placed on the back of the device. The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, according to the information revealed by the leaked images.
According to the aforementioned source, the Moto M will only be available in Asia, at least right after its release. There is no information regarding the global availability of the handset, but it’s safe to assume that if it will prove to be a success among customers, Lenovo will release it in the USA and in other parts of the world also. The success or failure of the smartphone will be most likely determined by the pricing of the device. The recently launched Moto Z and Moto Z Force are quite expensive given their features, and if Lenovo will set a price that is too high for the Moto M, there is a great chance that no one will want it. But until we know more about the pricing of the device we can only hope for the best, and see how it pans out. What do you think the fair price for these features would be?
