SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, a brand-new adventure for the sponge and all of his friends, will be quietly on the way at the end of January. It builds on the popularity of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated by offering a unique story about the creatures that live beneath the sea. We get a glimpse of the action in this silly game in the most recent trailer.

Recap: After obtaining some magical bubble soap, SpongeBob causes chaos in Bikini Bottom by transporting everyone through numerous portals to other dimensions. It basically serves as an excuse to let gamers explore intriguing locations they might be familiar with from the cartoon series.

So far, everything seems fairly promising, don’t you think?
