Fear PS5 Drops S, Gets Release Window
Bloober Team removes the S from Layers of Fears and sets a release date. According to the trailer, the PS5 remaster will release in June and combine scenes from the first two games with new ones. It’ll compete with Street Fighter 6, Diablo 4, and Final Fantasy XVI.
Layers of Fear is advertised on YouTube as both PS4 games, their expansions, and The Final Note DLC. “The Writer’s never-before-told story will tie everything together,” too. All that content will be updated with higher resolutions and frame rates.
The first Layers of Fear game from Bloober Team (developers of the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake) is considered the best, so it will be interesting to see if the Polish team can match it. PS5 gets it in four months.
