Final Fantasy XIV – Official release date for PS4 announced

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn fans have something to look forward to. SQUARE ENIX® announced that FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn ™ for the PlayStation 4 will be released on April the 14th, 2014. The Beta-stage is set for launch on the 22nd of February.

Final Fantasy XIV : Realm Reborn will be available on the Playstation 4 on the 14th of April.

Three versions will be available for the game, a Standard Edition priced at $39.99, a digital version will be available through the Playstation Network for $59.99, and a Collector’s Edition priced at $79.99 will be available exclusively at retailers. Extra in-game bonus items for either version will include a Cait Sith Doll minion and a Mog Cap. Pre-ordering FFXIV’s either version will give you early access for the game. The launch date of the early access is set for the 11th of April, so hurry up and get your copy as soon as you can.

Migrating from the Playstation 3 to the Playstation 4 comes at no additional cost. Existing players with already registered copies of  FinalFantasy XIV on another platform will receive 2 new in-game items for free: the Wind-up Moogle minion and Fat Chocobo Mount.

Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy XIV:Realm Reborn on the PS4

The Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy XIV:Realm Reborn for the Playstation 4 includes:

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector’s Edition for the PS4 system will be available exclusively on the Square Enix Online Store. A free 30-day trial is included for new accounts, with monthly subscriptions priced at $12.99. PS4 system and PS3  system Standard Edition owners can also to upgrade to a digital Collector’s Edition to receive the in-game items through FFXIV Account Management System, Mog Station.
