iPhone 6 available for pre-order in 24-carat gold and platinum options

The iPhone 6 may not have been officially announced yet by Apple, but that doesn’t mean you can’t already pre-order it. Not only that, but you can apparently get the highly anticipated smartphone in 24-carat gold and pure platinum complete with diamond encrusted logo. These variants are part of Brikk’s collection of luxury handsets, which features a total of 14 different models, each more exquisite than the last. You’ll find Pink Gold, Platinum, and Yellow Gold among the models, as well as non-plated versions in more traditional black and white colors complete with the diamond Apple logo. Naturally, such an iPhone 6 does not come cheap and can end up costing you anywhere between $4.495 and $8.395. Each device comes in a custom metal box with user manual and all the standard accessories as well as a certificate of authenticity and a 1-year warranty.

Brikk is only offering the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 for now, but will most likely also have the bigger 5.5-inch variant once it comes out. Interestingly enough, the manufacturer actually confirms the display size in the process, which was not officially announced by Apple yet. Furthermore, they also reveal that the device will feature 128 GB of internal storage memory, although we’re not sure if this is the standard memory or if it was achieved via the use of a microSD card. The second option seems much more viable to be completely honest but you never know, we are talking about a device worth thousands of dollars after all. In any case, if you can afford a Lux iPhone 6 know that all variants are already available for pre-order from Brikk’s website. The manufacturer asks for a $500 deposit and promises that it will ship the device within 3 to 4 weeks after it will be officially launched.

Word on the street is that Apple will announce their latest flagship sometime during mid-September with an official launch to follow near the end of the month. That means that the first luxury iPhone 6 will reach its owner sometime during October. Apple is hoping that the upcoming smartphone will be their best selling device of all time. The company has already ordered somewhere between 70 million to 80 million units in preparation for its launch. We need to mention that this order is just for the 4.7-inch version. The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is expected to sell even better once it’s released so who knows how many more million devices Apple will end up ordering in the future.
