New slim Apple MacBook Pro in production
Apple tries to never lag around in terms of new products and accessories, and MacBook Pro is not one of their devices they should leave as is. That’s why Apple will probably be releasing a new MacBook Pro edition with a slimmer design, supposedly in Q1 of 2015.
The new MacBook Pro is rumored to already be in production phase, which backs up the theory that we might encounter a new MacBook early in 2015 or even sooner. The production of the components has already begun, albeit in small volumes for the new, slimmer MacBook Pro. Those who already have the award winning MacBook Pro in their laps will probably be enthusiastic about Apple’s new tech, since upgrades are rarely bad ones.
Apple has been reportedly working on a 12-inch MacBook Air with a high-resolution Retina display, though it is unclear if this thinner model would be part of Apple’s MacBook Air or its MacBook Pro lineup. The 12-inch MacBook Air has been rumored to incorporate a new cooling system and button-less trackpad design. What is being debated about the new MacBook Pro is whether Apple will use its signature Retina display, or will it focus more on power and slim design rather than Retina capabilities.Rumors say that the new MacBook Pro will include touchscreen features, better battery and the new Broadwell 14 nanometer chip from Intel. Intel’s new Broadwell chips might allow Apple to build the device without using fans, which will make for a stunningly silent notebook. At the same time, Apple might be the first to use the next-gen chips in notebooks.
Q4 will surely bring a lot of novelties from Apple, aside from the slim MacBook Pro. The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, the two iPhone 6 models and the iWatch are already confirmed releases to be unveiled by the end of the year. Apple will also probably cease production of the 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro by the end of 2014, meaning that the Retina screen might be here to stay.
We’re not sure which device will be first to arrive or even if both the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will see the light of day, but in any case, Apple is planning a new notebook and will surely try to revolutionize the market with the new tech it will be implementing.
