OnePlus has announced a new accessory for the OnePlus One flagship killer, invoking that there hasn’t been many accessories out there tailor-made for the One. OnePlus has recently canceled the development of its StyleSwap covers because the company couldn’t make the covers fit on the One without damaging the build of the phone. The Silver Bullet earphones from OnePlus come as an attempt to mend the gap left by the covers, in my mind.

In light of these developments, a listing for the OnePlus Silver Bullet Earphones has appeared a few days ago on the company’s website, and today the headphones got officially announced. The OnePlus Silver Bullet earphones will go on sale a week from now and will set you back a mere $15 sum. OnePlus is keeping up with its tradition of setting low prices for its products, but will these earphones be any good?

OnePlus says that the Silver Bullet earphones the earphones are made of aluminium, which will offer a durable and sturdy build to the gadget. The company has created the earphones with music lovers in mind, promising that the earphones will offer high quality, immersive sound through a superior dynamic stereo speaker system and dynamic bass response.

What’s neat about the OnePlus Silver Bullet earphones is that they come with a remote that allows you to control music, voice calls and even your camera on the  One. It’s not clear if the earphones will be as compatible with Android or iOS devices, but the company will surely let us know by the time the earphones go up for sale.

The $15 price tag OnePlus has put on the Silver Bullet earphones is quite appealing and if the earphones turn out to be as good as advertised, it will certainly be worth the investment. OnePlus is becoming more active and has begun its slow expansion with the announcement of the pre-order system for the One flagship. The One will be available for pre-order at the end of October.
