New trailer of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition played in Full HD 1080p

BioWare’s upcoming RPG sequel, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition received a nine minute gameplay trailer showcasing in-game action at 1080 p maxed-out settings. The gamer who had the privilege of playing this early build of the game is a Youtube user nicknamed Rechyyy. Allegedly, this lucky RPG enthusiast was invited to EA’s Los Angeles Studio to get an early taste of Dragon Age action. The game seems to be looking pretty spectacular, and moving fluently with all its visual settings loaded to the max. Although Youtube does not have such good compression ratio and streaming is locked at 30FPS, it’s quite clear to see that Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will have top notch graphics at the time of its release.

In the nine minute gameplay footage, the player makes a run across the dense forest of Nettle Pass while dispatched on a mission to the Veridium Mine. This new Dragon Age title presents a huge gaming environment with vast landscapes awaiting to be discovered and explored, which is to be viewed as a major step up from the previous two games. System requirements wise, there is still no clue on the type of rig you will be needing in order to play, but the game seems prone to have demanding PC specs. Game-debate reckons that due to the game’s Frosbite 3 engine, the same one Battlefield 4 employs, it is likely that Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will swirl around the same sysreq territory as the acclaimed shooter.

However, there are some graphics features that could amp-up rig specs. The new Dragon Age introduces a SpeedTree engine to work in tandem with the Frosbite 3 in order to allow a more realistic and thorough level of detail, which could prove highly demanding when wandering about in dense vegetation and thick forests of the game, as shown in the gameplay trailer below. As soon as we’ll get our hands on the official or rumored system requirements, we’ll be sure to let you know. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is set to launch on November 18 in North America, and November 21 in Europe. The game will be available on Windows PC, last-gen PS3 and Xbox 360, and next-gen PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the Dragon Age 3: Inquisition gameplay trailer below:
