Minecraft Introduces Trial Chambers and Mischievous Mob
Mojang revealed “Trial Chambers” and “The Breeze,” hostile mobs, after Minecraft Live last month.
The Trial Chambers are procedurally created and present fresh challenges each time you enter. Helpful or harmful things are in every room.
Trial Spawners increase difficulty according to team size, with different enemies in each chamber. Surviving these mobs will earn you a special reward.
Players must watch out for “The Breeze”—a new unruly mob. The Breeze is “not like any mob” players have faced. While appearing, it can jump and knock players back with violent wind gusts. There are also environmental consequences.
The 2024 Minecraft 1.21 release will include all of these. Xbox, Windows, and iOS devices offer previews for early access.
