In the recent TV spot that aired during the latest episode of Sword Art Online II, three new characters were teased. The characters names were not revealed, but brief descriptions of the character were given. These can be seen below.

These are not the only characters that have been shown for Sword Art Online: Lost Song in recent times. Several weeks ago, characters Philia and Klein were revealed as well. Philia had made her debut in Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. Where she sported blonde hair in Hollow Fragment, Philia will now have black hair in Lost Song. Klein is a Sword Art Online veteran, and was the first person that main character Kirito had met in the beginning of the original series. Two weeks ago characters Strea and Argo were revealed. In the original Sword Art Online, Strea wielded a great sword, which she still uses. Strea can also adventure alongside players as a NPC character. Argo was also inside of the original Sword Art Online. There she was an information dealer, and was known as “Argo the Rat.” These newer characters will be playable along with several series veterans, such as Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Lisbeth, and Silica. Here are the character descriptions:

“A genius scientist in the VR world that signs of peace.”
“A signer’s Guardian”
“A supposed lying girl in search of the light.”
