Elsword Releases Ara Haan’s New Job Upgrade
Elsword is an action MMORPG with a manga art style. Today saw the release of a new Job for the one of game’s characters: Ara Haan.
Today developer KOG Games, developer of Elsword, announced the launch of Ara’s new 2nd Job: Asura. As Asura, Ara has come to master her ancestors’ Exorcisms Arts. As a combo, players can use 4 new, Job Specific skills in a row to unlock and unleash a new Secret Skill: Pulverization. Once successfully executed, Ara embodies the amalgamation of a master Exorcist and Phantom Fox to unleash hell upon her enemies. Ara’s Hyperactive Skill is the Millennium Fox. With this skill, Ara summons the avatar of Eun, the Millennium Fox. The spirit then sweeps the battlefield with darkness and lightning, destroying all who oppose her.
A 2.5-diemnsional action MMORPG, Elsword features real-time action gameplay. The game features both PvE and PvP modes, and offers co-op for up to four players. PvP content takes place in an arena where players can go head to head. Up to 8 players can brawl at one time. There is a “survival mode” which is a free-for-all match, and team modes that support up to 4 vs. 4 battles. Elsword features nine different characters to play as, each with their own abilities. At level 15, each character has three different job class paths that they can take. Each job path specializes in a different play style with unique skills. There are mainly seven types of skills: Passive, Active, Buff, Special Active, Sealed Skills, Combination Skill, and Hyperactive. All of these skills have different purposes and different activations. Elsword takes place in the land of Elrios, which was brought to life through the power of the gem known as the El Stone. When the El Stone is stolen, the games heroes go to recover it and bring the thieves to justice. Each character has a personal story that is told as they level up.
Elsword is available for PC. The game is free-to-play.
