Pokémon Sun & Moon Confirmed for Holiday 2016

This morning, Nintendo released a brand new Nintendo Direct video focused entirely on Pokémon. In addition to discussing the imminent digital release of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, a new announcement was made.

This holiday, we’ll be seeing two brand new entries in the Pokémon series: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The video shows a small amount of concept art, but other than the names, logos, and release window for the games, we don’t know much about them yet. This announcement comes right after several websites leaked the names and logos, but were unable to confirm the news. Thankfully, Nintendo has done that for us, and now all we have to do is wait. I suppose that’s easier said than done, though. You can watch the entire Pokémon Direct below:
