UK Charts: FromSoftware’s Armored Core VI Beats Mario Kart and Zelda

FromSoftware’s Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon topped the UK Charts this week, beating Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The company’s return to its mecha-based combat franchise is off to a good start, proving that FromSoftware is not a one-trick pony after the success of Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

The only other newcomer this week is Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum at number twenty-one. It’s not the fantasy FPS’s best start, but with positive reviews, it may be a slow burner.

No major surprises in the top forty this week. As expected, Pikmin 4 fell several positions, while LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga returned to the top ten at number six.
