‘Soon’ Additional Details Regarding the Tomb Raider Trilogy Announced as Fans Express Concern Over Gameplay Delay
Fans are eagerly awaiting further information about the forthcoming Tomb Raider I-III Remastered collection before its release on February 14, 2024.
The official Tomb Raider X account promised, “We’ll have plenty more to share soon,” in response to a fan’s request for additional screenshots and gameplay footage. Even though the game has been mostly under wraps since its announcement in September, I can’t believe how long it has been since then.
Mind you, trust in developer Aspyr has definitely plummeted in the last year or two. It was heavily criticized for canceling the highly anticipated Restored Content DLC, which led to refund requests and even a lawsuit after porting Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II—The Sith Lords to the Switch.
Additionally, it was supposed to rework the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, but Embracer revealed thereafter that the project had moved to a different firm.
Despite our apprehensions, we are eager to see the outcome of the next Tomb Raider trilogy; therefore, we will be watching for further details about it in the weeks to come.
Do you anticipate playing the remastered Tomb Raider games on the Switch? Do you find the present dearth of gameplay footage concerning?
