In the latest update, Nintendo has raised the bar for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the release of the Sora amiibo and the accompanying Version 13.0.2. This update has the potential to be the game’s ultimate masterpiece!

In the most recent update, the official support page has provided patch notes that reveal the addition of support for the Sora (Kingdom Hearts) amiibo. This highly anticipated release is scheduled for February 16th, 2024. However, it’s worth noting that this update does not include any balance adjustments. Nintendo has been keeping the game fresh by regularly adding new spirits to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

• Updates have been made to ensure compatibility with the upcoming release of the Sora amiibo.

The most recent update, which was released in December 2021, introduced compatibility with the Metroid Dread amiibo. In the realm of recent spirit events, a plethora of new spirits have been introduced, hailing from notable releases like Pikmin 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
