Updates To The Hunter x Hunter Series Are In The Works, According To Eighting

Bushiroad Games and developer Eighting are teaming together to create a fighting game based on the Hunter x Hunter manga and anime. Hunterx Hunter: Nen x Impact is the official title.

No announcements about platforms or release dates have been made at this time. Even though Gon, Netero, and Leorio are preparing to battle, the genre of the fighting game remains unknown.

You should definitely check out this shonen if you haven’t already. Crunchyroll has provided the following synopsis:

“Gon, a young boy who lives on Whale Island, dreams of becoming a Hunter like his father, who left when Gon was still young.”

Game series that Eighting has contributed to include DNF Duel, Naruto, and the Marvel vs. Capcom series. Pikmin 4 has also benefited from it lately! Since the Hunter x Hunter games have never before had a Western release, we will keep you posted on any new information that may be pertinent.
