OnePlus One is preparing to launch in India and Malaysia

The highly sought after OnePlus One smartphone is pretty hard to buy as it is given that you need an invitation to do so, but it’s even harder if it’s not available in the country you live it. Now it looks like OnePlus wants to expand its business and release the device in a few other markets as well at some point in the future. The company already had a General Manager job opening for India and now it also made one available for Malaysia. One can only assume that the OnePlus One is scheduled to arrive to these markets sooner or later, but we don’t have a specific date to share with you at this time unfortunately.

A lot of manufacturers tend to release affordable smartphones in countries like India and Malaysia because the expensive flagships are not selling very well over there. However, the OnePlus One might be an exception as it comes at a relatively low price compared with some of the other smartphones out there so it could do well in these countries. Moreover, the device also offers some very impressive specs and a beautiful 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 401 pixel density. Hardware-wise, the OnePlus One comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz complete with Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.

The OnePlus One also features a 13 MP primary camera, a 5 MP secondary shooter, a massive 3,100 mAh battery and comes in 16 GB or 64 GB storage options. Currently the device runs on CyanogenMod, which is a special version of the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. In the US the OnePlus One is priced at only $300 for the Silk White 16 GB version and $350 for the Sandstone Black 64 GB model. The device will presumably come at a similarly low price when in launches in India and Malaysia.
