Since the service’s redesign, Sony Interactive Entertainment has lost close to two million PS Plus subscribers. PS Plus presently has 45.4 million users, down from 47.2 million in FY2021 (3.81 percent year over year), and down from 47.3 million in the first quarter of the year prior to the redesign, according to the company’s financial statistics for the second quarter of FY2022 (a four percent year-on-year decrease). However, the business anticipates recovering.
