Warlords of Draenor will introduce eight new dungeons to World of Warcraft

Warlords of Draenor’s launch date is approaching fast and new details regarding the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion are coming in at a steady pace. This time around, we get to learn about the new dungeons that will introduced when the game launches next month. Blizzard Entertainment revealed a total of eight new dungeons, with four of them being of the leveling up kind and the other  four being aimed at maximum level players. Most of the dungeons are located in the new Warlords of Draenor areas, although one of these areas might not necessarily be considered new as it has been present within the game since the Burning Crusade expansion, but was recently reworked. The area in question is Shadowmoon Valley, which now serves as the starting zone for the Alliance.

The four level-up dungeons go by the names of Bloodmaul Slag Mines (level 90-92), Iron Docks (level 92-94), Auchindoun (level 94-97) and Skyreach (level 97-99). Each of the dungeons contains four bosses including one in Auchindoun that “may seem just the tinniest bit familiar” according to Blizzard. Most of the mobs within are Draenei and presumably so are the bosses, however, Blizzard mentions something about Gul’Dan and his minions being interested in the place. Could this “familiar” boss be the infamous Gul’Dan himself? The fel orc was featured in the Warlords of Draenor cinematic and he is a very important part of the World of Warcraft lore so he might indeed be the boss in question.

As for the maximum level dungeons, they are called Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, The Everbloom, Grimrail Depot and Upper Blackrock Spire. The last one is the only newly announced dungeon located in Azeroth and will pit players against no less that five bosses. Veteran World of Warcraft players will surely be eager to enter the Warlords of Draenor version of Upper Blackrock Spire and see how it was modified since the days of vanilla WoW. Another highlight will be fight against the one and only Ner’zhul in Shadowmoon Burial Grounds where he will serve as the final boss. For those unfamiliar with that name, Ner’zhul was the original Lich King before Arthas took that title for himself.
