The Art Of Cuphead Limited Edition: Cover, Page Count, Price, Release Date

Cuphead is easily one of the most beloved indie games of recent memory, getting critical acclaim for its gorgeous art style and punishing difficulty. While it remains to be seen if a sequel will ever be released, those wanting to get more out of the game’s world be able to do so early next year.

Amazon has recently posted a product page for The Art of Cuphead, with there being both a standard and limited edition. The following is the official product description:

“Each page of this curated collection of artwork is designed to capture the vintage look and feel of the 1930’s. Take a gander at the game’s traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation. Peek at the early concepts, production work, and early ideas that went into the making of Cuphead’s characters, bosses, stages and more including never-before-seen content from the upcoming DLC!

Relive the most cherished and challenging moments of Cuphead and Mugman’s adventure to reclaim their souls from The Devil, all in a way you’ve never seen before! Guided by personal insights from game directors Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, take a one-of-a-kind trip through the Inkwell Isles and discover an all-new appreciation for Cuphead’s animation style and challenging retro gameplay.

Dark Horse Books and Studio MDHR are thrilled to present The Art of Cuphead! This vintage-style art extravaganza is the perfect book for fans of Cuphead!”

Each version of the art book will release on March 17th, 2020, though the prices will obviously be much different. The standard edition will be $27.99 for the hardcover version and $16.99 for the Kindle version, whereas the limited edition will be a whopping $99.99. The page counts will be the same, with the product page listing 264 pages for each one. You can check out the limited edition cover (which includes the standard edition) below.
