The latest addition to Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 roster is a beloved character that fans of the series will be thrilled to see. Prepare yourselves for the arrival of the formidable antagonist, Akuma, who will be unleashing his devastating punches on May 22nd, 2024.
The character’s appearance in the gameplay video above is quite impressive, as he effortlessly executes a series of devastating combos and unleashes visually striking special attacks on Ryu. If you’re interested, you have the option to choose him as your mentor in World Tour mode and learn some impressive moves from him. The protagonist concludes the initial year of post-launch updates to the game, and in addition to the combatant, a significant balance patch will be introduced, fine-tuning each character.
Players who have the special editions of the game or its ultimate or character passes will have immediate access to Akuma. Players who possess the ultimate pass will have access to a brand new stage called Enma’s Hollow.
