The retailer currently has a few models in stock, with prices starting at $855 for the Black version, $869 for the White version and $904 for the Gold one. Regardless of the variant, all the devices are unlocked so you won’t have to commit to a carrier if you decide to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Amazon. However, there are a couple of pretty big disadvantages here. You’ll won’t get a warranty for the device and all models are GSM-only. Also, the Gold version is only expected to ship within 6 to 10 days.
On the other hand, if those details don’t bother you, you’ll have the privilege of owning the best smartphone currently available a bit early than everyone else. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes equipped with a 5.7-inch display complete with 1440 x 2560 resolution, 515 pixel density and Super AMOLED technology. Indeed, it appears to have the best smartphone display to date, but the hardware isn’t too shabby either. Under the hood you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 processor, Adreno 420 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. However, if you want the best of the best and don’t plan on paying an arm a leg for it, you can just wait until next week when all major carriers will sell it on contract for $200-$300.
