Moto 360 now available with silver or gold 18mm bands

Motorola’s Moto 360 is regarded as one of the best and most beautiful Android Wear smartwatches on the market thanks to its simple and elegant design, a design which just got better. As you might remember, Motorola announced earlier this month metal band variants of the Moto 360. The watch bands presented back then were 23mm thick and showcased a beautiful silver or black light metal design. This time around, Motorola decided to cut down to 18mm bands with stainless steel silver and champagne gold finish, which have now been made available for purchase. The silver stainless steel version costs $300, while the Champagne Gold will require an extra $30; whether this Moto 360 premium version is worth it or not is entirely up to you. Currently, these 18mm slim metal band models are exclusively available on Motorola’s official website.

Although considered bulky and unattractive by some people, the Moto 360 has made quite a reputation for itself since it first launched thanks to its round classic design and comprehensive display. The looks are complemented by a state of the art craftsmanship. Moto 360 shows no shortage of high quality materials; the stainless steel case, Horween leather and Corning Gorilla Glass are the three premium components this smartwatch utilizes. Certainly, key features such as Timely updates, Voice Control and Moto Body are not to be overlooked. The Moto 360 is fueled by a TI OMAP 3 processor and 512 MB of RAM. Memory wise, 4GB of internal storage are available. The user will benefit from a high-end pedometer and optical heart rate monitor sensors.

Other features worth mentioning are the IP67 water resistance properties, vibration motor and dual microphones. If you’re looking for an attractive wristwatch encompassing the latest technology and craftsmanship, Moto 360 is definitely a viable option.
